Atesos medical AG founded
In August 2009, Atesos medical AG was established and movec into Schachenallee 29 in Aarau, Switzerland.
Product launch of SORT refletctive spheres
Atesosâs first product has been approved: the retroreflective spheres are used in conjunction with navigation cameras to aid spatial orientation.
First CE marking for Pyramid Hip System
On 18 October 2010, the big day arrives: the Pyramid hip system receives CE certification and is now approved for the EU market.
Its unique two-layer coating enables rapid osseointegration and, consequently, a faster recovery for the patient.
First surgery with uncemented hip stem
In Germany, the first cementless Pyramid hip stem, including the hip cup, is implanted on 21 October 2010.
Product launch cemented stem
The Pyramid rangeâs cemented hip stem was introduced to cater for a wider range of indications. The centralizer at the tip helps to ensure an even distribution of the cement.
Support for the anterior MIS approach
Product launch of the Direct Anterior Approach Support System (DAASS): The table extension for leg fixation is frequently used when the anterior MIS approach is chosen.
Product launch revision cup
During revision surgery, up to three cancellous bone screws can be inserted to provide mechanical fixation.
Product launch Unas Short Stem for minimally invasive approach
The Unas Short Stem has been successfully launched as the latest addition to our portfolio. The short-stem is implanted using the same instruments as the Pyramid Hip System.
